Who Should Apply?

This program is ideal for industry professionals engaged in implementing data intelligence in decision making that want to further their careers as well as students from a STEM background who want to earn a degree in data intelligence. Program admission requirements include:

  • 3.0 or higher minimum GPA
  • A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with basic foundations in calculus, statistics and computer programming
  • Hands-on computer programming experience, preferably in Python
  • GRE not required for most students (only required for students with degrees from non-ABET accredited institutions)

Choose Your Program Concentration

The MS in Data Intelligence offers three program concentration options:

  • Decision Intelligence Track: This track will deal with topics like supply chain issues and risk assessment, and how to use massive data-driven modeling to answer questions and gain visibility. This track is synchronous with online and in-person classes available.
  • Computational Intelligence Track: This track is for students interested in computing and learning how to derive information from a large database. This track is asynchronous and has the same courses as the Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence.
  • General Data Intelligence Track: Choose a combination of five courses from the Decision Intelligence Track and Computational Intelligence Track. This track is synchronous with online and in-person classes available.

With USF’s Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate, you can learn the skills needed to build and integrate next-generation AI tools and become well-qualified for roles in data mining, natural language processing, machine learning, autonomous robotics and other technologies.
